Chrome corundum block has following characteristics with excellent performance.
1. Dense structure. The surface layer and the inner layer are uniform, the porosity is low, the strength is high, and the high temperature and wear resistance is good.
2. Good rapid-cool and rapid-heat resistance. The temperature changes frequently due to the frequently opening of the furnace door in the area of the front door and side door, however, there is no cracking phenomenon of the blocks.
3. Good slag resistance.
4. Part of the chrome corundum block can still be able to use by turning over the surface, thus it can reduce maintenance costs.
