Date:2015-10-30 01:18 From:Zhengzhou Sunrise Refractory Author:admin

Joints should be staggered when constructing corundum block, and joints need to be filled with refractory mud. In order to make up the volume expansion of masonry, the expansion joints should be kept in the design and specification.

The masonry wall is divided into two types: straight wall and circular arc wall.

Before constructing the straight wall masonry, the lowest level of the furnace wall should be leveled, and drawing the line on the basis of the furnace body or steel structure. Then, measure the longitudinal and transverse centerline and other reference line of the furnace, and find wall size line accurately in the the principle to guarantee the size of the furnace body.

Furnace wall should be constructed smoothly and vertically which requires each brick layer need to be cable laying. The level of the wall layer should be checked by using a ruler and a horizontal ruler. The wall verticality or inclination should be inspected by adopting the model, line hammer and a ruler. On the same layer, brick joints should be staggered according to the rules and the mud in rick joints should be full which is required to tightly joint.

If the width of the hole of straight wall is less than 450mm, highlight the brick layer of bricks when constructing, and the prominent part of each brick layer can not exceed 75mm; if the width of the hole of straight wall is less than 250mm, processing bricks shall be in accordance with the requirements of the drawings. The top of the wall should be kept level, and when necessary, processing brick can be used.

The transverse vertical seam of the circular arc wall is called radial seam, and the longitudinal horizontal seam is called the ring joint. Circular arc wall usually adopts model or irregular bricks. Staggered joint of circular arc wall should on the base of parabola and catenary arch.
