Drying system of corundum brick body

Drying system is the condition sum when the corundum brick body is dried. It includes the drying time, the temperature and relative humidity of the drying medium entering and

leaving, the residual moisture of the corundum brick body before drying and after the drying is finished.

At present, large and medium-sized enterprises are to use tunnel dryer to dry to adobe, drying time showed by cart time interval.  Determination of cart interval should consider the

following factors: the nature of the material and structure, the shape and size of bricks,  brick body's initial moisture content and drying ending to requirement for residual moisture,

drying medium temperature, humidity and velocity, the structure of the dryer, etc. Usually, cart time interval is 15 ~ 45 min, before entering the dryer, large and special shaped

products should naturally dry 24 ~ 48h again into the dryer, in order to prevent the dry too fast and appear crack open.





Dryer pressure system, generally should adopt positive pressure operation, prevent cold air suction. For example, when adopting exhaust gas as the drying medium, should adopt

the tiny negative pressure or micro positive pressure operation, avoid the flue gas to escape, affect human health.

Corundum brick body drying residual moisture according to the following factors:

1. Corundum brick body mechanical strength should be able to meet the requirements of transport equipment kiln.

2. To meet the requirements of the initial firing can quickly heat up, that is not due to superheated steam crack.

3. The size and thickness of corundum brick, usually complex shape of large and special-shaped products, the residual moisture should be lower.

4. Different types of firing kilns have different requirements.
