The production cost of this product is high and the production process is relatively complicated, so the price of the product is relatively high. In recent years, glass melting furnaces using dense-end cast bricks have also appeared in China. These products are mostly used in the wall of the pool wall. From the perspective of the manufacture of fused bricks, the process of casting without shrinkage holes is simpler, and the manufacturing cost is also Relatively low, there is a certain difference in the selling price, and the performance in the wall portion is almost the same as that in the non-recessed cast brick.
 
The selection principle of the above-mentioned casting method of fused zirconia corundum brick:
 
1. The wall bricks in contact with the glass melt are oxidized by 33# obliquely cast zirconium corundum bricks. This choice is technically and economically reasonable. If you consider the need for bricks in the later stages of the furnace, you can make slight changes in the brick type. However, the choice of such wall bricks is more advantageous than the traditional bottom-up multi-layer brick wall, but there are also some problems. Many furnace designers are still used to the traditional Pool wall structure. The use of a 20mm thick 44# non-shrinkage AZS brick in the upper pool wall is the best choice, while the lower part can reduce the quality grade of the pool wall brick in turn. It is worth noting that the selection of multiple types of brick wall tiles should pay attention to the gap between the grades of fused bricks in adjacent areas should not be too large, because from the perspective of the production of various refractory materials, the physical and chemical indicators, mineral composition of high and low grade materials, The difference in performance is large, and the adjacent use is technically and economically unreasonable.
2. The upper structure of the melting furnace can almost normally use the ordinary cast fused zirconium corundum brick, and its function is completely sufficient.
 
3. For the melting furnace of the kiln bottom insulation, the kiln bottom paving is most suitable for the 75mm thick oxidation method 33# non-shrinkage AZS brick, which is used in conjunction with the zirconium corundum crucible during construction.
 
4. The side wall of the small furnace, the flat shovel and the shovel are generally made of 33# zirconium corundum brick by the ordinary casting method, and the 33# zirconium corundum brick without shrinkage or dense casting can also be used for the bottom of the furnace.
 
5. The wall of the clarification part is preferably made of ordinary-cast α-β alumina brick, and the bottom of the kiln should be made of α-β alumina brick without shrinkage casting. This type of kiln is expensive and can be oxidized. Law 33#AZS bricks instead.
