Alteration of fused zirconium corundum brick in glass kiln

Date:2019-10-29 15:14 From:Zhengzhou Sunrise Refractory Author:admin
The fused cast zirconia corundum (AZS) bricks are mostly used in high temperature parts of the kiln and in areas where the glass liquid is seriously eroded. The different brick models are usually marked by the amount of ZroZ.

The brick is mainly composed of two crystal phases and a glass phase of a corundum and multiple pieces of stone. The oblique zircon is eutectic with a-corundum, and the rest is free. The more Z cores 2 in the brick, the more free zircons. The anti-adhesion properties of these two crystal phases are all side-to-side, and the two crystal phases are closely connected, and the structure is uniform and dense, so that the corrosion resistance is stronger.
Due to the introduction of a small amount of NaZ in the brick. This causes the mullite crystallization zone to shrink, and the mullite phase is difficult to precipitate, and the glass phase is formed to be filled between the crystal phases. This glass phase is eroded by high-temperature glass liquid to form a private albite glass, which has a higher viscosity due to the dissolution of a certain amount of ZrO2.

This layer of high-viscosity glass is retained on the surface of the brick and is not easily diffused, thus protecting the brick. If the brick body is coarse and coarse, it is not easy to form a high-viscosity layer after being eroded, and the glass liquid easily penetrates into the brick body, and the br
